Doggie Oil Spray

Probiotic chews instead of treats
Food grade/dog safe diatomaceous earth.. again start small and gradually increase. A pinch over food and up to 1 tsp of a tsp per meal. I love this because it removes heavy metals, fights parasites and also builds healthy intestinal walls, skin, coat, bones, and teeth. Be sure to use a glass or stainless steel bowl only.

Beet root powder or small pieces of cubed raw beets.
Puppies get 3 meals a day - at every meal we add supplementation. Puppies around 8 weeks get about 2 cups a day and work up to the 3ish cups over time.
Also we feed the last meal between 3-4 because it tops them off nutritionally for the day and it gives them plenty of time to eliminate before bed and their digestive system can shut down for the night which enables them to rest better. So when we bring them in we give them a small amount as a treat; for example, a 1/3 of a large carrot, 2 probiotic chews, or 1/4 of a banana. Just enough to make them happy but not enough to put a load on the digestive system.

- we be sure to keep the bones far away from the dogs since chicken or turkey bones can cause death. I remove the turkey, bag up the carcass and take it to the dumpster right away
Lots of eggs
Something else we do is if we know we have something coming up and want our dogs to be calm we roast a turkey and feed it to them. For example if we have guests coming over. A roasted turkey can last 3-4 days for all of our dogs plus us.
Finally, we eat a lot of the same things we give the dogs to keep things streamlined. I buy 5 different melons/fruits a week and we cut them up and just share with the dogs. I like to keep things simple so it’s all more manageable.
